Flight One Software Pearl Harbor: Aircraft, Campaign, and Mission Fixes v2.0
============================================================================
Overview
--------
The files included in this ZIP archive fixes various show-stopping bugs in
Flight One Software's "December 7th, 1941! Pearl Harbor" add-on for Combat
Flight Simulator 2 (with Flight One Software's "Upgrade Patch 1", and "Battle
For Hawaii" freeware campaign mission expansion installed).

Details of these bugs and problems can be found in the following forum message
threads on the Internet:

Fixed Bugs and Problems
-----------------------
The bugs and problems that were fixed in the add-on pack are:

* The PBY-5A Catalina AI controlled aircraft would crash into the water at the
end of some of the USN campaigns and missions, resulting in a mission failure
(the PBY-5A Catalina needs to successfully LAND at the airfield to complete
the mission). Note that SOME of this fix was to substitute the aircraft's
"F1_PH_PBY.air" file with the default "Ki43iib_Oscar.air" file that is
included with Combat Flight Simulator 2 (which allows the AI to control and
to land the PBY-5A Catalina much easier, and more successfully).

* Destroying the PBY-5A Catalina AI controlled aircraft in some of the IJN
campaigns and missions would result in a mission failure (the PBY-5A Catalina
needs to be DESTROYED to successfully complete the mission). Also,
transmitting the secret position of the IJN fleet by the PBY-5A Catalina AI
controlled aircraft was counted as a GOAL to complete the mission (the PBY-5A
Catalina needs to be DESTROYED, and NOT be given the opportunity to radio the
position of the IJN fleet to the USN).

* Some of the the "payload=#" entries contained in some of the USN campaigns
and missions were incorrect, and would cause Combat Flight Simulator 2 to
lock up and crash (the "payload=1" entries that were causing the problem
  SHOULD be "payload=0").

* Autopilot functionality has been added to the player's "Flight 1 Pearl Harbor
P40" aircraft. Note that there have been NO new controls added to the
aircraft's instrument panel to control the autopilot, only the ABILITY to use
keyboard commands to control the aircraft's autopilot has been added.

* Lastly, the player's "Flight 1 Pearl Harbor P40" aircraft's instrument panel
has been fixed to prevent program crashes when Combat Flight Simulator 2 is
run under Windows 7 (or higher).

Note that these fixes are not a one-hundred percent solution to the problems
with the "December 7th, 1941! Pearl Harbor" add-on, but for the most part, the
campaigns and missions are NOW finally playable and winable!

Installation
------------
Unzip the files and directories included in the ZIP archive to your Combat
Flight Simulator 2 directory on your hard drive (e.g. "C:\CFS2", "C:\Combat
Flight Simulator 2", etc...) in verbatim, maintaining the directory structure
in the archive, and overwriting any of the add-on pack's original files.

Note that the "*.ori" files included in this archive are backups of the add-on
pack's original files.

ENJOY and HAVE FUN!
